I graduated from the counselling and spirituality program at St Paul University in Ottawa in 2002. As I began my practice I realized how much the arts had been a part of my own personal development and brought art into my practice. I began to use art in spiritual care while working in a psychiatric hospital and again while working with youth in secure treatment. Since then I have had the privilege to study at St Stephan's College in Edmonton, and the European Graduate School in Switzerland. I went on to complete a PhD in expressive therapies at Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass. researching the use of art in the process of forgiveness.
I have over the last two decades given many workshops for personal development and spiritual reflection using the arts.
I will again be offering 'in person' groups when Covid-19 is resolved.
