Easy, Accessible, Creative Interventions

The morning workshop will include a brief overview of essential elements in bringing more creativity into clinical practice.  What is the theory and practice of the creative arts in the helping relationships? When can and should clinical practitioners move from talk therapy to creative therapies? Several easy, low material, ways of helping clients and patients through creative interventions will be demonstrated with an opportunity for practitioners to learn through exploring and experiencing some of these interventions in the workshop.

Making the Invisible Visible

In this workshop, we will explore ways to use miniatures and symbols to creatively explore metaphor and increase self-awareness in therapy.  As an alternative to using a sand tray, you will learn how similar processes can be done on felt to derive therapeutic benefits with simple supplies.
